Artisan Crafts / Folding & Papercraft

I got a set of 100 strips of origami star paper today... so made a start on them.
I thought I would mess up my first one, BUT DIDN'T

Yes, they really are that bright... my mom thought they looked like those old Tutti Fruiti candies.
As you can see, I've only made a few, but it's a start & I really enjoy it.
I love the meaning behind them too.

I just squished points in with my nail quite firmly. A few turned out all deformed and pancake-esque though.

It's quite hard to explain it... but I just got a little set that gave me instructions and I followed the images.
You also need certain paper, or at least a certain length & width.
